It is March 30, 2025. I’m an American who used to ridicule such talk as this. Not anymore. Canada, if you have ANY sense of self-preservation:

1. Change your firearms laws overnight (you can do this; you have in the past) to allow citizens to own just about ANY firearm they wish, with only some restrictions such as fully-automatic fire unless licensed,

2. Establish the Canadian Militia, open to every adult non-felon who wishes to fight at a moment’s notice as a civilian,

3. Train, train, train, free of charge, and assign rank based on marksmanship performance,

4. Stay VIGILANT!

I respect Canada and all Canadians, and shall NEVER do ANYTHING that might work against them.

The mention of the eyes got me thinking. Living in the desert myself I don’t go out when the sand is blowing hard without wrap around glasses. Your eyes will buràn after 10 minutes. Imagine walking all those miles…You would probably be blind, racked from dehydration (racing thoughts that won’t let u sleep)…and really pissed at the navigator!

It’s difficult to write through tears. Out of respect for the dignified and noble way Chief Joseph and his people conducted themselves I will make my comment the same. What happened to the people who lived in all of the Americas after Europeans showed up is tragic. As a Christian myself, I can say for certain that Jesus would never have approved of what was done in His name in these cases. Some of those responsible were likely misguided and truly believed it was what Jesus would do, but most of those men used Jesus’ name to justify their own personal horrific acts of violence and depravity. It was the European settlers/invaders that made it impossible for the two cultures and people to live together in peace, separate, but at least in peace. What happened is heartbreaking. I don’t know what else to write.
