I’m a PhD student in the Geological Sciences, and I focus on climate and hydrosphere interactions. But in my spare time, and some of my not-so-spare time as well, I write.

I’m thrilled to join the team here at Damn Interesting! My work will focus on the natural world, science, and futurism more than anything else. I’m also a bit of a space nut. But, if I find something else that catches my eye I’ll probably write about that too.

I also maintain the blog Anthonares which focuses on science topics close to my areas of study, along with science policy and education issues.
