My wife and I visited Salem either in 2015 or 2016, and the belief now is that corruption held sway. Also, the girls who made the accusations apologized for their actions and renounced their statements about seeing demons, etc.

Aspergillus in the desert sands, hot sun and alkaloid fried their minds, hyper-religiosity now their norm, their myco-memes run the lands.

Nothing more.

Today thousands have been so harmed by indoor toxic mold that they have a really hard time finding “safe” mold free housing. Most people have no idea how much mmold exposure can affect the brain and destroy ones health, especially in those genetically susceptible. Those of us “moldies” (those of us overexposed and now hyperreactive) appreciate this article and know it is very possible mold played a role in this.

So that’s why they were thinking they saw witches and the Devil. They never did. They were trippin’! Plus, Abby was a liar, as well as the other girls. It was all just a bunch of un-called-for drama. I’m glad I didn’t live in that time era.
