I think it’s generally agreed that the origin of the Martian “blueberries”, discovered by Mars Observer, is inorganic, but: “The true nature of the Martian blueberries remains an enigma.” (https://gizmodo.com/the-enduring-mystery-of-the-martian-blueberries-discove-1832649426) It would be interesting if some day they turned out to be unrecognized fossils.

Yes Theo, lovely. Matt Castle, you are an amazing writer! Amazingly interesting subject matter too. But the way you cover it gave me goose bumps several times while reading this work. And thanks for the previously unknown to me concept of “confirmation bias”.
