It sounded as if their source for the piece was this article, nearly word for word.

I remember thinking at the time that most of early Earth was quite like this.

I can’t claim to hold anything like the level of knowledge you guys (or gals) have, but just reading them makes me feel more informed. So I thank you for that.

One question that I always have when considering CO2 is the shift in automobiles from petrol to diesel, especially here in Europe. Sure the CO2 levels may be down in diesel emissions, but has anyone considered the smorgasbord of other harmful pollutants that diesel engines chuck out? I’m not sure about anybody else but I tend to see more oil burners chucking out plumes of black smoke than petrol cars. So what negative health effects does soot have, or any unique chemical found in diesel fumes for that matter? Are we just moving the negative effects from climate change onto another medium, such as our lungs, by shifting our fuels?

I am personally a proponent of large scale industrial energy production, such as nuclear fission reactors, with that produced energy being stored and utilized in the form of batteries, be they chemical or otherwise. Seems more efficient in my eyes.

Just some musings by an uninformed bored man…

Not like how my uncle patented his stirling engine design, the oil company offered good money for it but being a pilot n all, didnt want the money but for electricity generation in remote african villages then ends up hopscotching the globe still making eye contact with oil company hit men going on 20 years :/
